Job Title: Finance Support Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our finance team as a Finance Support Professional. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, support the growth of our business, and potentially pursue professional accountancy exams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting operations, including data entry, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable. They will also help with monthly management accounts preparation and financial reporting, process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner, maintain accurate financial records and documentation, and support the finance team with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable
  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Support the finance team with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an accounting or administrative role is beneficial
  • A business, finance, or accounting qualification (or working towards one) is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
