Commercial Management Specialist Role

As a Commercial Management Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering commercial management services for individual projects. You will provide assistance, support, and advice on all commercial issues within the project(s).

  • Deliver commercial management services including preparation of forecasts, procurement schedules, and contract administration.
  • Ensure accurate cost recording, cost to complete, and risk analysis for projects.
  • Maximise cash position by controlling WIP, improving cash flow, and identifying opportunities.
  • Measure quantities using standard methods of measurement and prepare valuations/application for payment to clients.
Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics (RICS Accredited).
  • Desirable - Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) or equivalent.
  • Full driving license.
  • Excellent knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 forms of contract and CESSM4 method of measurement.
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial management role.
  • Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint).
  • Good communication skills, including presentations and negotiation.
