Fire Protection Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of fire detection, alarm and suppression systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.

  • Commissioning fire detection, alarm and suppression systems to agreed customer specifications is a key aspect of this role.
  • Providing regular reports on activities enables management to plan strategic direction for the team.
  • Closing jobs efficiently ensures timely invoicing to customers.
  • Maintaining all client assets in good working order is essential.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to specify customer needs enhances expert advice during on-site inspections.
  • Responding to customer queries promptly and courteously resolves issues effectively.

The ideal candidate has comprehensive knowledge of fire industry standards, experience in standard and complex fire suppression systems, project management skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Main Responsibilities

Installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of fire systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers are primary duties.

  • Ensuring compliance with customer specifications is crucial for success.
  • Managing projects from design through completion requires strong organizational skills.
  • Attending product training enhances knowledge of product range.

Key Qualifications:

A comprehensive knowledge of fire industry standards, experience in standard & complex fire suppression systems, ability to manage large projects, extensive knowledge of conventional and analogue fire alarm systems, excellent communication & interpersonal skills and a full clean driving licence are required.
