Assistant Store Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Assist store managers in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Mentor and supervise store employees to optimize team performance.
Take full responsibility for store operations when the store manager is absent.
Collaborate on merchandising, customer service, and HR tasks to drive business growth.
Report on daily operations and support recruitment and sales strategies.
Maintain inventory levels and ensure health and safety compliance.
Ensure the store is visually appealing and resolve customer issues efficiently.
Support clients and troubleshoot as needed.
Contribute to achieving store sales targets by performing additional tasks as directed by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Leadership and Team Management:
Proven experience as a supervisor or assistant manager.
Strong leadership skills to motivate and direct team members.
Communication and Organizational Abilities:
Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule, including evenings and weekends as required.
Interpersonal, Decision-Making, and Problem-Solving Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
Ability to solve problems effectively and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Abilities:
Ability to perform physical activities such as reaching, bending, and carrying goods.
