Job Description

Key Role: Finishing Foreman

Santry, North Dublin

A reputable developer is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to manage a large residential project in West Dublin.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of on-site health and safety, guaranteeing all work meets the highest standards and complies with regulations.
  • Reporting progress weekly and addressing any delays promptly to maintain project momentum.
  • Managing subcontractors and service providers to meet project milestones, including testing and commissioning.
  • Carrying out continuous inspections of on-site works and resolving issues promptly to maintain quality.
  • Ensuring inductions and sign-off sheets are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Leading snagging teams to achieve efficient unit handovers, maintaining and closing out the snag list with subcontractors.
  • Tracking site labour and material usage through daily allocation sheets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Finishing Foreman within the construction sector.
  • Relevant trade qualifications or technical certification in construction, carpentry, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, particularly the final stages of project delivery.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
