Key Finance Operations Role">

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance operations professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to senior stakeholders.

">Job Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Design and implement automated solutions to drive process efficiencies within finance operations and across the broader finance function.">
  • Collaborate with underwriters/operations/project management team to ensure new products/distribution channels are fully embedded within finance processes in a controlled and scalable manner.">
  • Manage and support junior team members, reviewing their output and providing guidance.">
  • Develop and review reconciliations, ensuring they are completed on a timely basis and outstanding actions are investigated and resolved.">
  • Contribute to group systems implementation, including impact assessment, process definition and UAT of same.">
  • Collaborate across functions to complete end-to-end process documentation covering key finance operation processes and controls.">
  • Support the internal and external audit teams on operational finance matters.">
  • Work with the tax team and outsource providers to ensure accurate and timely tax submissions and IPT.">
  • Collaborate with the treasury team to ensure optimal processes for processing payments with appropriate disbursement controls and anticipating large receipts or disbursements.">

  • ">
  • Professionally qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with post-qualified experience.">
  • Preferably within an insurance accounting role.">
  • Strong academic background with a relevant bachelor's degree.">
