Job Title: Senior Speech and Language Therapist

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a senior member of our multidisciplinary team, playing a pivotal role in the delivery and clinical leadership of our services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders across a range of neurological conditions including stroke.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders across a range of neurological conditions including stroke.
  • Lead on complex cases, service development, and best-practice approaches.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and healthcare teams to optimise patient care.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff and students.
  • Offer training and advice to patients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding communication and swallowing disorders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and current registration with CORU.
  • Demonstrated expertise in neurology/stroke care.
  • Experience supervising junior staff or students.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical, post graduate experience
