Production Specialist Role

This position is ideal for individuals who can make a positive impact in the manufacturing process.

The successful candidate will provide technical support to ensure smooth operation of production equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and performing repairs using technical expertise and tools.
  2. Carrying out complex maintenance tasks such as mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  3. Interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  4. Having a good understanding of conveyor, depositor, p&p machine, and weighing machine operations.
  5. Assisting in compiling and presenting technical feedback on engineering performance.
  6. Leading on maintenance and/or process issues and working independently or as part of a team.
  7. Monitoring production processes, running diagnostic tests, and creating comprehensive reports.
  8. Certifying and training associates in production processes.
  9. Evaluating operating data to conduct online adjustments and developing or revising documents and procedures.
  10. Identifying and implementing corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues.
  11. Installing and validating equipment and processes to improve yield and reduce cycle time.

Our ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, electrical and mechanical skills, and excellent knowledge of industrial machines and the mechanical industry.

Experience within a Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environment and surface mount technology experience are highly desirable.
