We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support site safety in collaboration with the project team, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel involved.
  • Manage site quality assurance with input from the QA Manager, guaranteeing that work meets the required standards.
  • Assist in maintaining and tracking the project schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
  • Oversee and control project costs, including labour, materials, plant and variations, to maintain budgetary requirements.
  • Supervise day-to-day site operations, ensuring progress aligns with project goals and objectives.
  • Manage the on-site team and coordinate across all disciplines, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, progress and manpower levels, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Conduct weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and package leads, promoting open communication and resolving conflicts.
  • Manage snagging and punch lists in support of QA/QC, ensuring high-quality work is delivered.
  • Report labour hours for direct staff and subcontractors, providing accurate and timely information for project planning.
  • Lead site meetings and reviews throughout the project lifecycle, promoting transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Mechanical Construction Manager role.
  • Trade background or relevant third-level qualification in engineering or construction.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors and construction programmes effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Full, clean drivers license.
