Mechanical Maintenance Specialist Role

This position involves working as part of a dynamic team to support the efficient operation of mechanical systems and equipment across the site.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Specialist with strong problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot complex issues and carry out repairs in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps, valves, HVAC, and utilities.

A strong understanding of CMMS systems and GMP documentation practices is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on production and utility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
  • Support equipment changeovers, calibrations, and validations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with site SOPs and safety regulations.
  • Complete documentation to required standards.
  • Participate in audits and inspections.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in daily shift handovers and weekly team meetings.
  • Support training and mentoring of junior technicians.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Recognized Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance role within a regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and GMP documentation practices.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with cleanroom environments.
  • Knowledge of EHS standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
