Warehouse Operations Job

We have partnered with a leading chemical manufacturer to grow their team in Cork. This is a permanent day role located within walking distance of the train station.

Job Description:

This role involves complying with quality policies and procedures, following manufacturing work instructions, setting controls and operating machinery, being aware of all Health and Safety compliance in the warehouse, operating forklifts, loading and unloading goods, storing product for ease of location when required, maintaining housekeeping standards, and meeting specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Comply with company quality policies and procedures.
  2. Follow manufacturing work instructions.
  3. Set controls and operate machinery.
  4. Be aware of all Health and Safety compliance in the warehouse.
  5. Operate fork lifts.
  6. Loading and unloading goods.
  7. Correct storage of product for ease of location when required.
  8. Housekeeping.
Requirements:
  1. Able to cope with physical demands of the job.
  2. Able to follow written instructions.
  3. Manual Handling Certificate advantageous.
  4. Hard working.
  5. Enjoy practical and manual activities.
  6. Able to work as part of a team and independently.
  7. Previous experience in food industry an advantage.
  8. Good hand-eye coordination.
