Electrical Power Monitoring Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Building Management Systems engineer for Dublin. The BMS Engineer is responsible for Electrical Power Monitoring Systems from conception, interdisciplinary coordination, installation, and commissioning through to handover.
They will oversee the Specialist Systems Integrator in all elements of their works from Health and Safety, Quality, Design, Pre-construction activities, and Commissioning.
This role will be carried out as required by the Project Specific Health and Safety and Quality Management Systems and processes.
The BMS Engineer will be an integral part of the team and will collaborate with other members to support Automation related works across other projects.
The BMS Engineer will report directly to the Project Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Experience in SI design and implementation of the BMS and EPMS systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver the BMS and EPMS systems to meet project requirements.
- Experience in working with SI contractors.
- Provide guidance and support to others in the team to ensure success in delivering the project.
- Oversee the execution of Automation works, ensuring they are completed on time and within constraints.
- Understand client expectations for Automation systems and ensure they are delivered accordingly.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex BMS and EPMS issues.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the Client, SI Contractors, Equipment Vendors, Commissioning Agents, and HSE Teams.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure reliability and performance of Automation Systems.
- Proven experience in the management of BMS and EPMS works.
- In-depth knowledge of BMS technologies, protocols, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with relevant software and programming languages.
