We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Airworthiness Control Engineer.

The Role:

This is a critical position responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

  • Attend and chair daily meetings as per standard operating procedures.
  • Initiate maintenance processes when required, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage interfaces between operators' and line maintenance organizations.
  • Coordinate defect rectification with authorized maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet status and disseminate information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the raising of allowable high-levels at locations without maintenance support.
  • Monitor and plan accomplishment of all upcoming maintenance requirements, including assigned tasks.
  • Issue line maintenance workpacks to authorized personnel as required.
  • Review completed workpacks and update status in maintenance management systems.
  • Manage requests for maintenance extension approvals when necessary.
  • Conduct acceptance checks on aircraft from maintenance providers.
  • Coordinate the management of cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder data in accident or incident scenarios.
  • Review ECTM or FDM data to determine if limitations have been exceeded.
  • Request and coordinate maintenance completion forms.
  • Ensure sufficient downtime is requested for scheduled maintenance by assessing relevant data and liaising with certifying engineers.
  • Allocate realistic timeframes for repairs when coordinating with operations on return to service.
