Director of Sales Opportunity

This is a unique chance to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in the leisure, MICE, and corporate segments.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Sales to join our team. As a seasoned hospitality professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing targeted sales strategies to increase room nights and overall revenue in the leisure segment. You will also oversee the development of leisure promotions, packages, and marketing efforts in close collaboration with our marketing department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong network of relationships within the luxury travel industry and excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. They will be able to balance big-picture planning and hands-on execution, with a passion for hospitality, service, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for the leisure, MICE, and corporate segments
  • Oversee the development of leisure promotions, packages, and marketing efforts
  • Cultivate relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, independent travel advisors, and group organisers
  • Represent our company at trade shows, independent sales missions, and other strategic face-to-face sales opportunities
  • Work closely with the event management and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of meetings and events that exceed client expectations
  • Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team, ensuring they meet targets across leisure, MICE, and corporate segments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in luxury hospitality, with a strong emphasis on leisure travel
  • Demonstrated success managing consortia and high-end leisure accounts
  • Strong network of relationships within the luxury travel industry
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills

Working Conditions:

Our office is located at The Merrion Building, Merrion Street Lower, Dublin 2.

Hybrid work model with a combination of remote and on-site responsibilities.

Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:30.

Flexibility required outside of core hours to accommodate site inspections, client events, sales trips, and other business needs.
