Job OverviewA seasoned Health and Safety Specialist will prioritize workplace safety by conducting thorough risk assessments, developing effective mitigation strategies, and enforcing compliance with relevant regulations. As a key member of the team, you will leverage your expertise to foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior management to establish and maintain a comprehensive health and safety program.
- Develop and implement site-specific safety protocols to minimize hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and track progress.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on health and safety performance.
- Hold a degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of maintaining safe working environments within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks is an asset.
