Workforce Planning Professional

We are seeking a seasoned workforce planning professional to lead our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing workforce-related projects and programmes throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver strategic workforce planning initiatives by leading, shaping, and implementing People Consulting programmes.
  • Assume operational responsibility for assignments and delivery teams, driving accountability and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a senior contact and escalation point for the client leadership team, fostering trust and delivering value-added services.
  • Drive business growth through revenue generation, identifying opportunities, and developing innovative business development strategies.
  • Nurture client relationships, providing expert advice and guidance on best-practice workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop trusted advisor relationships, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Provide strategic workforce planning advice and input into EY's service offering, contributing to organisational success.
  • Manage junior resources, providing development opportunities and facilitating growth within the practice.
  • Contribute to People Consulting's strategy and annual plans, driving business outcomes and excellence.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic workforce planning, either as a consultant or in an internal HR role.
  • Proven track record of managing workforce-related projects and programmes throughout all phases of the project/programme lifecycle.
  • Experience in building strategic workforce planning capability for organisations, driving business outcomes and growth.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and being accountable for delivery.
  • Ability to proactively manage stakeholders, provide constructive challenge, influence decisions, and deliver difficult messages up to C-suite level.
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, drive business growth, and navigate complex business problems.
  • Strong analytical capability, comfortable working with and interpreting data to inform business decisions.
Desirable Skills
  • Appreciation of data, systems, and technologies used in strategic workforce decision-making.
  • Primary degree and any post-graduate degrees or professional qualifications desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working on projects gained in a professional services firm, global consultancy, large private/public sector organisations.
  • Track record of strong business development in a professional services firm.
