Global Procurement Leadership Role

This is an opportunity to lead and develop a critical function within a global organization.

  • Collaborate with partners to align priorities with procurement management and organisational goals.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and engage partners to drive value in cost savings, cash flow improvements, and efficiency gains.
  • Represent Global Procurement in organisational decisions with both short- and long-term impacts on company success.
  • Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance on performance, career development, and technical procurement skills.
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making and ensure successful category projects.
  • Partner with site-based Global Procurement staff, collaborate closely with senior management, and contribute to leadership meetings as needed.

This role may be suitable for those with:

  • Technical expertise in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, combined with strong relationship-building and analytical skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to achieve results through sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
  • Expertise in rates, unit costs, and costing structures, enabling efficient negotiations.
  • A willingness to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • The ability to lead and influence global procurement strategies that directly contribute to overall organisational success.
  • A desire to collaborate with a diverse and talented team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference.

Required qualifications include a BA/BS degree in a relevant field and 17+ years of professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
