Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager is a strategic leader responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. This role requires a strong background in procurement management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • This position involves managing various aspects of the procurement process, including category strategy development, supplier development, commodity/services/goods procurement, outsourcing, and vendor selection.
  • The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant experience in complex industries, preferably in large corporations, with a proven track record of delivering results-driven procurement solutions.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing efficient integrated processes among internal functions and outside suppliers.
  • Focusing resources on continuous improvement of material movement through various processes.
  • Establishing key performance metrics and benchmarks to measure actual performance against goals.
  • Promoting alignment by understanding and communicating business and customer needs and requirements.
  • Managing assigned purchasing categories, including category analysis, schedule agreements, PO conversion, and vendor queries.
  • Ensuring thorough MRP management, review, and execution of purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Working closely with other supply chain personnel and departments to ensure high levels of customer service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Typically require 7+ years of relevant experience in complex industries.
  • A strong background in procurement management principles and practices.
  • Fluency in English is a requirement.
