BIM MEP Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading multidisciplinary consultancy as an experienced BIM MEP Specialist in Dublin City Centre.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished BIM MEP Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D MEP models and 2D drawings using Revit and Auto CAD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Modeling and Drawing: Create accurate and detailed 3D MEP models and 2D drawings using Revit and Auto CAD.
  • Clash Detection and Resolution: Conduct thorough clash detection, prepare comprehensive reports, and propose effective solutions to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with M&E engineers, architects, fire engineers, and wider design teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • BIM Model Coordination: Coordinate and review both internal and external BIM models to guarantee accurate project integration.
  • BIM Expertise: Provide BIM input and expertise at design meetings and workshops to enhance project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 3 years' experience working with Revit MEP or equivalent BIM software.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification at NFQ Level 6 or higher.
  • Certification: Autodesk Revit certification is an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong skills in Revit MEP and Navisworks; Auto CAD knowledge desirable.
  • Presentation Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage workload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
