We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef De Partie to join our vibrant and busy gastropub in Galway.
- Job Description:
- As a Chef De Partie, you will play a key role in a fast-paced kitchen team, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes to a consistently high standard.
- You will be responsible for managing your designated section, ensuring food preparation, presentation, and hygiene are always of the highest level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present dishes within your section according to the menu and quality standards.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with HACCP regulations.
- Assist with the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.
- Support stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver smooth service during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef De Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to step up.
- Passion for high-quality food and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
