Support Worker Opportunity

Our residential care service provides person-centred support in a homely environment. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team.

Job Description:

We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment where you can make a positive difference in the lives of our service users. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred support in residential settings. This includes promoting independence, dignity, and choice in all aspects of care, as well as planning and delivering structured learning, recreational, and life skills activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to individuals in residential and/or day service settings.
  • Assist with personal care, daily living tasks, and emotional support as required.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and choice in all aspects of care.
  • Plan and deliver structured learning, recreational, and life skills activities.
  • Support service users in developing social, communication, vocational, and personal skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Level 7 degree in Social Care (or equivalent recognised qualification).
  • Experience in disability, day service, or residential care settings.
  • Knowledge of HIQA regulations and person-centred practice.
  • Full clean driving licence and access to own transport.
