House Coordinator Job Description

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) is seeking a skilled and compassionate House Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and effective service to the residents in their care, ensuring that all statutory requirements are met, and promoting person-centred support and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the house team, ensuring that all staff members are empowered to deliver high-quality services.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans for each resident, addressing their unique needs and goals.
  • Ensure that all aspects of care, including physical support, personal care, and social development, are delivered in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure that all financial records and transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Level 7 qualification on the QQI Framework or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • At least 1 year's experience in a supervisory capacity within a similar social care setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in the disability sector/vulnerable adults.
  • Excellent knowledge of HIQA Regulations and Standards.
  • Thorough understanding of safeguarding requirements, including Trust in Care and Children's First.
