Job Title

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our organization.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for guiding the growth and development of our business in Dublin or remote Ireland. As a technical sales leader, you will create possibilities, solve problems and establish trusted relationships with our customers. You will collaborate with various teams to discover customer objectives and help them invest in suitable solutions from our portfolio.

You'll handle a range of customer conversations, from introductory discussions on our solutions to mapping architectural and technical details specific to the customer's environment. The Account Solutions Architect will coordinate efforts with other technical staff to design solutions and ensure customer adoption and satisfaction.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who possesses excellent communication skills, as they will be part of the first impression our customers have with us. Additionally, having a passion for open source and a balance of technical expertise with business acumen is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Gaining an in-depth understanding of customer business goals, technical objectives and IT environments.
  2. Collaborating with Sales, Customer Success and Partner Ecosystem teams to assess potential application of our solutions.
  3. Providing pre-sales technical leadership for the development and implementation of complex solutions and services.
  4. Developing strategic relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor.
  5. Delivering proof of value to customers and partners through presentations, demonstrations, workshops and pilot projects.
  6. Researching and writing responses to technical sections of RFIs, RFPs and RFQs.
  7. Coordinating technical efforts of other Red Hat resources like Product Specialists, Support and Professional Services.
  8. Delivering compelling recommendations that result in closing new sales.
  9. Owning and meeting bookings quota and performing regular reviews and reports about opportunities being worked on.
  10. Sharing expertise by contributing to documentation (e.g., wikis, quick-start guides, blog posts and white papers), developing reusable assets (e.g., demonstrations, workshops) and presenting at conferences and industry events.
Requirements:
  • Pre-sales, consulting, IT architecture or equivalent experience in support of enterprise accounts.
  • Integration, development, or administration experience with UNIX and Linux systems.
  • Skilled in presenting to small and large groups of mixed audiences, including business, technical, management and leadership teams.
  • Experienced in developing relationships at engineering, commercial and executive levels throughout large enterprise IT organizations.
  • Experienced with modern and emerging technologies including public and private cloud, container orchestration and management, automation and configuration management, DevSecOps and CI/CD, and modern application frameworks.
  • Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures.
  • Collaboration with others and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Fluent language skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
