Strategic Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced logistics professional to join our team. As a leading player in the Energy and Telecoms Industries, we are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management and be able to develop and implement strategies to optimize our supply chain operations.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing logistics day-to-day issues, training and supervising team members, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and evaluating supplier performance. They will also have experience in identifying new suppliers and procurement opportunities, managing transportation and distribution operations, and implementing technology to enhance logistics management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to streamline logistics operations and improve efficiencies.
  • Manage logistics day-to-day issues, including resolving problems and finding solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, and delivery management.
  • Identify new suppliers and procurement opportunities to improve our supply chain operations.
  • Manage transportation and distribution operations to optimize costs and efficiency.
  • Implement technology to enhance logistics management and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in logistics management role.
  • Experience in supervising and managing teams.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in logistics and fleet management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate insights for decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
