Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who is passionate about process improvement and manufacturing excellence.
The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing, characterizing, improving, and qualifying manufacturing processes for replicate equipment used in the scale-up of new or existing products.
- Responsibilities include developing project timelines, providing updates and feedback to leadership, and implementing problem-solving skills and techniques to identify potential process risks.
- Key responsibilities also include planning and performing Design of Experiments (DOE) and utilizing six sigma methodologies to characterize, assess capabilities, and determine optimal processing operating windows.
Additionally, the successful candidate will consult with vendors to produce equipment, materials, and/or parts that meet determined product specifications, perform statistically robust analysis of data, and present findings to technical teams.
Requirements:
- A B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent with 8+ years related experience, preferred or an Master's degree and 5+ years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2+ years of experience.
- Ability to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, stay organized, and balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
