Plant Maintenance Specialist

As a Mechanical Plant Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering services to support the smooth operation of our clients' facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all maintenance and repair activities on assigned equipment systems, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Assist in reviewing spare parts inventory levels and recommend replenishment schedules as needed
  • Manage task schedules and resources allocated, monitor progress, and quality of assigned tasks
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations
  • Act as equipment owner, responsible for ensuring spare parts are available and correctly assigned on SAP
  • Manage procurement of day-to-day mechanical and equipment purchases
  • Develop and implement plans to improve overall equipment reliability and safety performance
  • Liaise closely with Planner to prioritize workflow and ensure seamless project execution
  • Coordinate plant engineering support for CIP meetings outcomes
  • Supervise maintenance contractors, providing technical support as required, and coordinating work tasks/permits to relevant area owners
  • Participate in root cause analysis, deviation resolution teams
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, BBS, BBQs documenting potential hazards within the plant and reporting non-conformances and deviations promptly to stakeholders

A successful candidate will hold a Degree in Mechanical or Marine and Plant Engineering, 5-10 years of engineering experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead technical and safety reviews. Chartered status is desirable but not essential.
