Job Title: Enterprise Commerce Platform Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Commerce Cloud Developer to design, develop and maintain our enterprise-grade digital commerce platform. As a core development team member, you will build robust and scalable eCommerce features using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), lead technical problem-solving, and support integration with SAP and third-party systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain custom modules and extensions in SAP Commerce Cloud using Java and Spring Framework.
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Design scalable and reusable components aligned with best practices and enterprise architecture.
  • Owning core eCommerce functionality (catalog, pricing, cart, checkout, order management).
  • Customize B2B and/or B2C accelerators as needed.
  • Integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with backend systems (e.g., SAP ERP, S/4HANA, SAP CPI, payment gateways, PIM, OMS).
  • Design APIs and data flows for real-time and batch interfaces.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce high standards for performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Write unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code reliability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java development, with 3+ years in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Commerce architecture, data modeling, and extension mechanisms.
  • Experience with B2B/B2C Accelerators and OCC (OmniCommerce Connect) APIs.
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework, RESTful services, and SOLR.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP Certified Development Specialist – SAP Commerce Cloud.
  • Experience with headless commerce and frontend technologies like Spartacus or React.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and caching strategies (e.g., Redis, CDN).
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
