About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced project planner to lead residential construction projects nationwide.

The successful candidate will develop, manage, and monitor detailed construction programmes using Asta Powerproject to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining budget constraints.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and update comprehensive construction programmes for large-scale housing developments utilizing Asta Powerproject.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management, project managers, site supervisors, designers, and commercial teams to synchronize programmes with strategic plans, procurement schedules, and build timelines.
  • Sequence construction activities logically, taking into account lead times, statutory approvals, utility coordination, and specific requirements of Irish residential projects.
  • Identify critical paths, key milestones, and potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to validate lead times and integrate them into the programme.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the Irish housebuilding process – from greenfield site acquisition to final handover, encompassing groundworks, utilities, timber frame/traditional build, and fit-out.
  • Stay updated on Irish construction regulations, planning requirements, and BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations).
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in planning within residential construction is required.
