Job Overview

The Sourcing Manager, Professional Services IT executes the overall category strategy and leads the sourcing process for professional services IT in partnership with IT executive leadership.

  • Establishes strong relationships with IT leadership and business stakeholders, understanding strategic business direction, requirements, and priorities across assigned spend categories.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and best practices for professional services IT suppliers, monitoring supplier landscapes and regulatory changes impacting the category.

This position requires significant experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing supplier agreements in professional services IT. Key qualifications include:

  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing and negotiating professional services IT agreements in a similar industry.
  • Bachelor's degree focused in related areas (Business, Supply Chain).
  • Strong issue spotting skills, ability to identify, advocate, and educate stakeholders regarding different potential outcomes and suggestions to resolve issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership of complex supplier contracting and strong ability to influence others with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of best-in-class Sourcing, Contracting, and Vendor Management processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drives all aspects of complex strategic sourcing processes in the IT category, including contract negotiations, research, benchmarking, RFP facilitation, and vendor management.
  • Builds and leads an enterprise global strategic supplier program, developing the AIG Vendor Management strategy, roadmap, and periodic executive briefings, vendor reviews, risk management, compliance, performance management, issue resolution, service delivery, and cost optimization.
