Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to provide technical process support to a project or function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all maintenance activities meet high standards and documentation is accurate.
  • Engage in troubleshooting, resolving hardware/software issues on the production floor.
  • Develop technical knowledge of next-generation equipment and collaborate with teams to identify and eliminate technical issues.
  • Liaise with cross-functional team members and 3rd party vendors to share best practices.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems, identify hazards, defects, and implement adjustments or repairs.
  • Investigate build failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions across all equipment.
  • Interface with cross-functional team members and practice good teamwork.
  • Identify and assist the business with implementing technical improvements.
  • Repair/troubleshoot systems and processes, identifying root causes and implementing permanent solutions.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance and calibration activities on assigned lines, processes, and areas.
  • Provide process and maintenance improvements using data analysis and trending reports.

Requirements

  • Certificate/Diploma in Engineering/Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical, toolmaking, or related discipline.
  • Calibration: Relevant technical qualification/experience ideally in Instrumentation/Process Technology.
  • 4 years' experience in manufacturing (2 years+ as a technician).
  • Good knowledge of electronics and software control systems.
  • Entry-level experience in a modern manufacturing environment, preferably with previous experience in low/medium voltage electrical power systems, pneumatics, PLCs, instrumentation, hydraulics, calibration, or the medical device industry.
