Senior Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Main Responsibilities:- Support various financial operations tasks, including VAT queries, regulatory reporting, and month-end/year-end financial close processes
- Reconcile supplier turnover with the general ledger to ensure accurate calculation of customer rebates
- Post rebate journals to customer accounts on a monthly basis
- Liaise with key stakeholders to resolve queries regarding rebates and supplier trading terms
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit
- Generate monthly customer purchase reports
The successful candidate will possess strong Excel skills, a high level of accuracy, and good communication and problem-solving skills. This is an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a collaborative finance team.
Key Requirements:- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Previous accounts or finance experience; IATI qualification or part-qualified accountant desirable
