Leisure Centre Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our leisure centre team as a Leisure Centre Attendant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist guests with accessing the leisure centre facilities
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation throughout the centre
  • Monitor and replenish pool supplies and towels as needed
  • Provide basic equipment rentals and respond to guest queries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
  • Perform lifeguard duties and maintain certification as required

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a strong commitment to teamwork
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Hold relevant certifications and qualifications, including Irish Pool Lifeguard qualification and Irish Swim Teacher qualification (desirable)
