**Maintenance Team Lead Position Overview**

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility or site. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for ensuring operations run efficiently and safely.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assume leadership as IWS (Integrated Work Systems) Maintenance Lead, guiding teams through process improvements and promoting a culture of continuous growth.
  • In the absence of the Maintenance Manager, take full responsibility for maintenance management to ensure seamless continuity of operations.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in managing daily operations of the Maintenance team by identifying necessary repairs and improvements, setting project priorities, assigning tasks, and scheduling work to minimize production disruption.
  • Oversight of all maintenance activities – both planned and reactive – in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Prioritize participation in regular team meetings to guarantee alignment with operational and organisational goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant City & Guilds qualification (Electrical preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within a maintenance or engineering team.
  • Strong people management and coaching abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and prioritise maintenance schedules effectively.
  • Solid technical background and hands-on competence.
