Key responsibilities of the Banqueting Manager include overseeing daily operations, ensuring event spaces are immaculately set and teams are fully briefed.

This position requires effective leadership, strong communication skills, and a calm solution-focused approach to manage inventory, coordinate floor functions, and maintain clear communication with kitchen and food and beverage teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for staff training, standard operating procedures, staff rosters, and health and safety regulations. This is a dynamic and high-profile role that demands excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Oversight of daily operations to ensure smooth execution of events
  • Coordination of floor during functions to maintain clear communication with kitchen and F&B teams
  • Efficient management of inventory and beverage stock
  • Post-event billing, cash handling, and financial processes
  • Staff training, standard operating procedures, staff rosters, and health and safety regulations
