Ensuring product quality and safety is critical in our production process. We conduct rigorous microbiological testing to detect various types of microorganisms.Testing Procedures
  • We adhere to AOAC 989.10 and AOAC 990.12 standards for the aerobic plate count test.
  • Our methods are based on AOAC 989.10 and AOAC 991.14 guidelines for the coliform count test.
  • We utilize the AOAC RI 04171 method for the lactic acid bacteria count test.
  • Our approach aligns with AOAC standards for the rapid yeast & mold count test.
  • We follow AOAC 997.02 guidelines for the yeast and mold count test.
  • Our procedures comply with ISO 4831 for high sensitivity coliform testing.
  • We use AOAC guidelines for listeria testing.
  • AOAC standards apply to E. coli O157:H7 testing as well.
We also conduct water testing and E. coli – Coliform Presence/Absence tests in accordance with USP 2021/2022 guidelines. Additionally, we perform USP Microbial Enumeration Tests-Nutritional and Dietary Supplements, which include enumeration of total aerobic bacteria, combined yeast and molds, and bile-tolerant gram-negative bacteria present in all nutritional supplements from raw materials to the finished product. Product specifications are outlined in USP but typically developed by the manufacturer.Good Manufacturing PracticesGood manufacturing practices require that objectionable organisms be absent from non-sterile nutritional and dietary products. Objectionable organisms are defined as microorganisms that may cause potential health hazards to the user of the product and would adversely affect the product safety. To ensure compliance, we follow guidance from USP for formulation and process design, facilities, equipment, water and sanitation, supplement components, the frequency of microbiological sampling and testing, recommended microbial limits for botanical ingredients and products, and finally, recommended microbial limits for dietary supplement ingredients and products.
