Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the localization and translation of high-priority content across various platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences in multiple languages. This role requires expertise in managing linguistic assets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving product quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, edit, and translate UI content, long-form content, and other core experiences
  • Perform localization screenshot testing to identify linguistic and functional issues
  • Work closely with product teams and perform hands-on linguistic testing on web and mobile devices
  • Collaborate with the Localization Program Management team to support product launches and drive end-to-end linguistic quality
  • Drive product-specific language quality initiatives and manage vendor performance
  • Maintain localization glossaries, style guides, and Translation Memories for owned content
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in English-to-Arabic translation, product UI localization, and linguistic reviews
  • Knowledge of society and current trends in the Arab world
  • Familiarity with CAT tools and experience in localization of online and mobile products
  • Cross-functional experience working with engineers, product teams, and regional stakeholders
