Software Engineering Manager Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Manager to lead our development team and drive technical innovation.


About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing team.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget, as well as experience in managing technical teams and collaborating with cross-functional groups.


Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Lead a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, reliable, and maintainable software applications.
  • Team Management: Plan, coordinate, and direct the work of team members, ensuring timely completion of projects and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with directors, product managers, technical leads, and architects to align on objectives and architecture guidelines.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents with dependencies across services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering and team management.
  • Excellent technical skills, including Java, agile methodologies, and cloud computing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
