Injection Molding Technician Role

A skilled Injection Molding Technician is sought after by our organization to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Process Technician to oversee the setup, cleaning, and maintenance of injection molds to ensure optimal production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of plastics processing and molding defects to guarantee high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization: Set up, clean, and maintain injection molds to achieve maximum production efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Monitor production quality and identify areas for improvement, implementing lean/continuous improvement efforts where possible.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and adjust machines as needed to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation: Complete accurate production documentation, including reports and statistics.
  • Training: Support the training and development of other technicians to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in injection molding/manufacturing, or certification in lieu of experience.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of plastics processing and molding defects to ensure high-quality products.
  • Skills: Experience with robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, or hot runner controls is highly desirable.
  • Certification: High School Diploma required; must be at least 18 years old.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work standing or sitting for long periods.
