Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable IT Support Specialist to join our team at UniJobs DAC. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer care skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as part of a wider team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing IT support and advice to students in Maynooth University. This is a 12-week contract with flexible working hours between 09:00am - 09:30pm Monday to Saturday. The hourly rate for this position is €13.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist students with IT-related queries
* Ensure all customer queries are addressed within the IT Service Management (ITSM) system
* Follow and adhere to standard processes and procedures
* First-level troubleshooting of standard applications used by the University
* First-level troubleshooting of devices
* Maintain multifunction printing devices' consumables

Requirements:
* Flexibility: candidates need to be able to work a variety of shifts and undertake various duties
* Excellent customer care: candidates would be working in a user-focused IT environment and need to enjoy helping and supporting users
* Teamwork: candidates would be working as part of a wider Computing Assistant and IT Services team
