Job Role
The Behavioural Specialist will be responsible for undertaking functional assessments and developing multi-element behaviour support plans to promote positive behaviour and improve overall quality of life. This will involve working closely with individuals, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop tailored plans that meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans
  • Provide training to front-line staff
  • Contribute to service development under a positive behaviour support framework

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in psychology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a nationwide multidisciplinary team. A degree in psychology or a related field is essential, along with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role or health/social care setting.
