Senior Purchasing Specialist Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Senior Purchaser to contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Place purchase orders with suppliers after conducting thorough market research and negotiations.
  • Engage in discussions with suppliers regarding terms and conditions.
  • Perform price comparisons to ensure optimal purchasing decisions.
  • Analyze and report on actual costs versus budgeted costs to inform strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with the site management team to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Proactively source new suppliers to maintain a diverse and competitive supplier base.
  • Review tender BOQs and prices with relevant suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar procurement or supply chain role.
  • Prior experience in procurement within a construction company is highly desirable.
  • A self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and other industry-standard software.
  • A proven track record of delivering results against key performance indicators.
  • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
