Mechanical Plant Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Plant Engineer to join our team at PM Group. This role involves supporting a busy pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, ensuring all maintenance activities are completed on schedule and within budget.

  • Lead technical services for the client, including clean and black utilities upgrades and remediation projects.
  • Support problem-solving and control centre operations for the manufacturing plant.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks for assigned equipment and systems.
  • Task management, monitoring progress and quality of assigned tasks.
  • Liaise with planners to prioritise work flow.
  • Critical thinking, risk assessment, and root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Marine and Plant Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Years of experience in Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors.
  • Chartered status desirable.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to think critically to resolve complex problems. A high level of communication and interpersonal skills is also essential.
