Person-Centred Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality care to those in need.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional person-centred care in a home environment. As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing tailored support to clients with physical or intellectual disabilities, frail older people, palliative care needs, or chronic illnesses or addiction.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full, clean driver's license and use of your own car
  • Availability to work at various times throughout the week
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm, polite, and professional demeanour, maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • A kind and caring nature, with a commitment to providing quality person-centred care
  • Reliability and trustworthiness, essential for building strong relationships with clients and families
  • Satisfactory Garda Vetting
  • QQI Level 5 Care Skills and/or QQI Level 5 Full Healthcare Award, preferred but not essential
Benefits

  • An hourly rate of €14.70
  • Half hour and premium rates for Sundays and Bank Holidays
  • Mileage/travel time: 30c per kilometre + fortnightly travel time payment
