We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Support Worker, providing high-quality care and support to children with intellectual disabilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing learning experiences and activities for children within a preschool setting. This will involve working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.
- Designing and delivering engaging educational programs that cater to the unique needs of each child.
- Providing emotional support and guidance to children, helping them develop essential life skills.
- Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Childcare / Early Childhood Education (Level 6 desirable).
- Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm, energy and a team-oriented approach.
- A valid driver's license in Ireland.
