Child Development Specialist

- Be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality services for children aged 0-18 with developmental needs.
- Contribute to early intervention and life-changing outcomes through comprehensive psychological assessments and tailored intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based therapies for children with neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and sensory or emotional needs.
- Carry out psychological assessments and develop intervention plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Offer psychoeducation, counselling, and care planning to empower caregivers and enhance their support networks.
- Maintain high-quality documentation in line with professional standards and contribute to service development initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Doctorate or equivalent in Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychology and/or Chartered Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist status.
- Candidates must be eligible for registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland.
- Experience working with children and young people with complex needs is essential.
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, intervention planning, and family support are required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are necessary for success in this role.
