Events & Marketing Professional

This is a challenging role that requires an individual with a strong background in events and marketing to join our team as an Events & Marketing Manager.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of several strategic network events, including selecting and liaising with speakers, identifying venues, planning resources, overseeing invitation and response management, driving progress and actions, and managing budgets.
  • The Events & Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the management of Strategic Networks within the company, including Alumni, Boardroom, and other networks assigned.
  • This role will involve leading out on marketing campaigns, focusing on key sector areas, and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to deliver commercially focused, relevant, and unique events that create engaging experiences for our key buyer groups.
  • The Events & Marketing Manager will work closely with the Head of Events, Sponsorship & Corporate Hospitality to optimize and manage operational event management processes, introducing consistency and efficiency to our event delivery model.
  • The role also involves working with the Head of Marketing Campaigns to manage assigned marketing campaigns, ensuring that marketing plans are executed effectively.
  • The Events & Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with other members of the Events and Sponsorship and Marketing Campaign teams, providing management and coaching to more junior team members in delivering high-quality event experiences for our clients and contacts.
  • Key skills and qualifications required for this role include a minimum of 6-7 years' experience in an events or corporate hospitality-based role, organizational and planning capability, good understanding of event and corporate hospitality best practices, and experience working with CRM systems and email marketing tools.
  • Other essential skills include key stakeholder management skills, experience managing marketing campaigns, and experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
