Operations Manager Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of our store and warehouse operations, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. They will also maintain accurate stock levels using a computerized system.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Oversee all aspects of store and warehouse operations to ensure efficient and effective management.
  • Monitor and control inventory accuracy, maintaining accurate stock levels through regular audits and reconciliation.
  • Implement and manage purchasing and reordering processes to minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment by implementing and enforcing strict health and safety protocols.
  • Produce regular reports on stock levels, turnover, and order status to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and train store staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role is essential.
  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills are required.
  • Proficiency in computerized stock control systems, preferably using Pegasus Opera, is highly desirable.
  • Strong purchasing and ordering skills are necessary to effectively manage inventory levels.
