Senior Shift Supervisor

As a senior shift supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the effective management of our restaurant and its employees. In the absence of senior management, you will assume responsibility to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate staff requirements and rotas for all vital duties to guarantee efficient service delivery.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding food service with empathy and professionalism.
  • Train employees in food preparation, service, sanitation, and safety procedures to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service excellence.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Inspecting supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service delivery and conformance to standards.
  • Performing personnel actions such as hiring, employee exits, orientation, training, and scheduling to support employee development and growth.
  • Setting up and clearing up of events and functions, and providing employee cover to ensure business continuity.
  • Implementing and maintaining high standards in food hygiene, service, and presentation (HACCP & Health & Safety Legislation) to protect public health and safety.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lead, empower, and build relationships with team members to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Proficiency with IT packages such as Word, Excel, and stock ordering systems to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Interest in food and service to drive innovation and excellence in customer experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to deliver exceptional service and support.
