Motor Damage and Bodily Injury Claims Professional

This position within the Motor Division involves desktop administration, investigation, and negotiation of motor claims, as well as handling complaints for a key motor client.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage proactively a portfolio of 150+ bodily injury and third-party motor damage files, meeting closure and quality targets.
  • Experience with complaint handling and familiarity with CPC requirements is advantageous.
  • Conduct liability investigations and determinations.
  • Investigate and settle claims efficiently and compliantly.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers/vendors.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients.
  • Collaborate with team members and liaise with clients and other departments.
  • Represent the business professionally and positively.
  • Maintain a positive attitude amid challenges and changing needs.
  • Be flexible with time and willing to travel as needed.

Key Skills:

  • CIP qualification in insurance.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience handling bodily injury and third-party motor damage claims.
  • Understanding of PIAB and litigation processes.
  • Decision-making and numeric skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Motivated, proactive, and influential.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Client-oriented with attention to detail.
