Job Title: Commercial Account Manager (Retail)

We are a leading food manufacturing company, and we're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Commercial Account Manager (Retail).

This role involves managing customer relationships, growing sales, and supporting planning and forecasting activities. As the primary point of contact for key customers, you will be responsible for developing business through profitable opportunities and contributing to strategic planning and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have strong account management skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage key accounts and develop business through profitable opportunities
  • Support planning and forecasting activities
  • Develop and implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs) for key customers
  • Attend client meetings and deliver sales presentations
  • Prepare and present reports on performance
  • Keep abreast of product trends and ensure an in-depth understanding of company offerings and processes
  • Support and develop the sales team to achieve targets

Requirements:

  • Educated to at least A Level or equivalent
  • Relevant third-level qualification is an advantage
  • FMCG experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and computer skills
  • Strong people management skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to complete projects and business briefs
  • Willingness to travel as required
